We were honored to document Brittany and Sefako’s official wedding day at The Madison Hotel in Madison NJ! These two lovebirds had a courthouse wedding prior to this day, but made it official with this joyful party.
Choosing The Madison Hotel made for a very special ceremony in the open-glass atrium that poured sunlight all over the couple and their guests. Brittany and Sefako were so genuinely excited and emotional to see each other at their first look, which was truly touching. Furthermore, it was incredibly heartwarming to see how open and eager their families were to blend cultures and become one whole family. Sefako’s family embraced Brittany with open arms and had her join in their South African traditions.
Our favorite part was the traditional “Money Dance” that went down in the reception at The Madison Hotel. The bride and groom escaped the party to change into traditional South African outfits and reappeared for the really fun dance. All family and friends showered the couple with money for good luck and prosperity as they danced. There was so much happiness exuding from everyone, we were smiling ourselves the entire time photographing it all.
