Our 1:1 design experience is such a fun experience!
The most common approach is to deliver an online gallery and ask couples to choose their favorite images before designing an album. We've intentionally designed a different experience.

We believe your Reveal & Design Appointment is an extension of your wedding experience, not simply the delivery of your photos. Your wedding deserved more than a gallery link, and so does the first time you experience your photographs.

Your appointment is scheduled before your wedding even takes place. Rather than wondering when your gallery will be ready or waiting for an unexpected email to arrive, you'll know before you even get married!
Because we know you'll be excited, if we finish your photographs ahead of schedule, we'll happily invite you to move your appointment to an earlier date so you can relive your wedding even sooner.

Grab your favorite drink, order dinner, and settle in for a date night at home. We'll begin with a cinematic slideshow of your wedding day before revealing a professionally pre-designed album that already tells the story of your celebration from beginning to end.
From there, your dedicated design specialist will help you personalize every detail. You'll be able to swap images, add meaningful moments, choose your favorite cover materials, and make sure every page feels uniquely yours.

By the end of your appointment, your album design is complete, your online gallery is ready, and your heirloom is already on its way to production.

01. What is the Reveal & Design Appointment?

We believe your experience with your wedding photos should be emotional, not administrative.
That's why we don't simply send you an online gallery and ask you to narrow down images on your own.
While that may sound easier, we've found it often becomes overwhelming. Couples spend hours comparing nearly identical photos, second-guessing their choices, and many never get around to designing the album they always intended to create.
Instead, our design team does the heavy lifting for you.
Before your Reveal & Design Appointment, we thoughtfully curate your wedding story and create a professionally designed album that reflects the flow, emotion, and most meaningful moments of your day. Rather than starting with a blank page, you'll experience your wedding through a cinematic slideshow before we walk through your album together.
From there, you can swap images, add favorite moments, adjust layouts, and personalize every detail with the guidance of one of our design specialists. You're always in control of the final design, you simply don't have to figure it all out on your own.
Once your design appointment is complete, you'll receive your full online gallery to download, share, and enjoy.
Over the years, we've learned this approach transforms what could be an overwhelming task into one of the most emotional and enjoyable parts of the entire wedding experience.

02. Why don't you just send us an online gallery?

Because your wedding deserves to exist somewhere other than a hard drive.
Your wedding album is your first family heirloom. Long after social media posts disappear and technology changes, your album will still be sitting on your coffee table, ready to be shared with your children, family, and future generations.
We believe preserving your story in print is just as important as documenting it. That's why every collection includes a beautiful handcrafted album as the foundation of your wedding experience.
Many couples choose to expand their album once they see all of their images, but every couple begins with a professionally designed heirloom that tells the story of their day.

03. Why do you include an album in every wedding collection?

Every wedding photography collection includes a custom-designed heirloom album. We begin with a thoughtfully designed album that tells the story of your wedding day, giving you a beautiful starting point while leaving room to personalize it.
Once your images are ready, our design team creates an initial storyboard-style layout that highlights the most meaningful moments from your day. You'll then have the opportunity to review the design, choose your favorite images, make any revisions, and personalize your album until it feels just right.
Many couples decide to add additional pages or upgrade their album after seeing their full gallery, but there's absolutely no pressure. Our goal is to create an heirloom you'll love for generations.

04. How Does Your Included Heirloom Album Work?

After your wedding, our design team carefully curates your story and creates a professionally designed album before you ever see it. Instead of staring at hundreds of individual photos wondering where to begin, you'll be presented with a beautifully crafted first draft that tells the complete story of your wedding day.
During your private Reveal & Design Appointment, we'll walk through it together. You'll have the opportunity to swap images, add favorite moments, adjust layouts, and personalize every detail, but you won't be starting from a blank page.
Our design specialists are there to guide you through the entire process, helping you make confident decisions without feeling overwhelmed.
Most couples tell us they expected designing an album to be stressful, but it ended up being one of their favorite parts of the entire experience. Instead of trying to choose between hundreds of beautiful images on your own, you simply get to enjoy reliving your wedding day while we help create an heirloom you'll treasure for generations.

05. Designing an album sounds overwhelming. How does that work?

Yes! Every wedding package already includes a 10x10 Fine Art Wedding Album with the first 20 pages on us, because we really believe in prints. After your wedding, we’ll guide you through all the fun stuff like album upgrades, cover materials, and extra pages. You get to enjoy the day first, then design something that feels perfect for you.

06. Can we Add More Pages, and add additional albums and prints AFTER the wedding?

Every album is fully custom, but our design style is typically clean and minimal, so your images can do the storytelling. We focus on creating a timeless layout that highlights the moments, emotions, and flow of your wedding day without feeling busy or overcrowded.

07. What Do Your Custom Album Designs Look Like?

Absolutely! We intentionally include the same heirloom album in every collection because we've found that wedding planning comes with hundreds of decisions already. Rather than asking you to predict exactly how many pages, upgrades, or design options you'll want before your wedding has even taken place, we've simplified the process by including a beautiful foundation that every couple can build from later.

Once you've experienced your wedding story, it's much easier, to know what you truly want in your heirloom album. You may discover there are moments you never expected to include or realize you'd love to tell more of your story than you originally imagined.

That said, if you're someone who prefers to know every detail of your investment upfront, we're happy to arrange a consultation with our design team before you finalize your wedding collection. They'll walk you through album sizes, materials, page counts, and upgrade options so you can customize your collection before booking.

Our goal is to make the process feel exciting, not overwhelming. We're happy to guide you through whichever approach gives you the most confidence.

08. Can we customize the album in our collection Before I book?

Absolutely! While we believe our Reveal & Design Experience is the most enjoyable and stress-free way to relive your wedding, we understand that everyone has a different decision-making style.

Option 1:
I'd prefer to receive my online gallery first.
If you already know you'd rather review your entire gallery before beginning the album design process, simply let us know before your wedding. We'll happily adjust your workflow and send your gallery first.
Because this requires our design team to create your album from scratch rather than refining a pre-designed layout together during your appointment, an additional design fee may apply.

Option 2: I'd like to experience the Reveal first, but make my album decisions later.

Many couples enjoy the emotional experience of experiencing their wedding story together for the first time, but prefer to take a little time afterward to process everything before making album decisions.

If that's you, no problem! We'll schedule a follow-up design appointment after you've had time to review your gallery and think through your favorite images. Since this requires an additional appointment and extra design time outside of our standard workflow, an additional design fee may apply.

We're always happy to review both options during your consultation so you can choose the experience that feels right for you.

09. I'd rather choose my own album images. Is that an option?

You can, but we generally don't recommend it.
We include an heirloom album in every wedding collection because we believe your photographs deserve more than living on a hard drive.

Your album is your first family heirloom, and it's the reason we're able to offer the Reveal & Design Experience that has become such a meaningful part of working with us.

Rather than simply delivering a gallery link, we guide you through a personalized experience where you'll relive your wedding story together, review a professionally designed album, and create something that can be shared with family for generations.

That said, we understand every couple's priorities are different. Should you decide it truly isn't the right fit, removing it is certainly an option. Every couple's priorities are different, so if you'd like to customize your collection, we're happy to customize your collection without one.

We simply encourage couples to think carefully before making that decision. Time and time again, we've seen couples who didn't think an album mattered realize, after experiencing their wedding story, that it quickly became one of the most treasured investments they made.

10. Can I remove the album from my wedding collection?
