Denny’s plays great music and throws a kick ass party without the cheesy stuff. Denny works in an open format style, mixing music from all genres live on the fly. You never know what he will play next. A good entertainer is able read the crowd, mix tunes and MC at the same time. He engages the crowd without being over the top. In our eyes, that’s what makes Denny the best and most unique New Jersey Wedding DJ around.
Above all, we want you to have an amazing time. Because of this, Denny’s motto is to keep your wedding day “simple, easy, and fun.” We tailor our music t each couple while sprinkling in our own funky vibe, of course. If you are looking for something different than the standard New Jersey Wedding DJ, look no further.
What do you wear?
Tighty whities with a mini bow tie pin.
Do you use a playlist?
I have never played off a playlist, ever. Every crowd is different. Different music works for different crowds and certain types of music work at certain points in the night. It’s all about timing. Playing the right song at the right time is just epic.
Can I give you requests?
I’m not a huge fan or requests. However, no matter what, someone will eventually ask for a song. I use my judgment on whether or not I will play it. I love to make everyone happy, but some songs should just never be played 🙂
What is open format style?
An open format style is playing music from all genres. Bouncing all over. You’ll never know what will be played next.
What does "live DJ" mean?
Live DJ means that everything you hear I am mixing live, in the moment. It’s really fun!
Denny is both the DJ and MC, WHAT?
You heard me. A good wedding DJ should be able to both entertain and mix great tunes. I know how to engage a crowd without being too much. It’s not about me – it’s about your party!
