Hotel du Village Wedding :: Kaitlyn + Dale
Kaitlyn and Dale’s Hotel du Village wedding was the perfect blend of soft, pretty, and downright fun! First of all, these two are true gems, full of joy and laughter. Dale the groom was a jokester and also had a ton of personality. He made his bride Kaitlyn giggle all day which made for some pretty fun images!
Bride and Bridesmaids
Kaitlyn is a classic beauty and shined in her whimsical gown with cathedral veil. Furthermore, her bridesmaids wore shades of lilac and purple to complement their gorgeous Bloomers N Things bouquets. We loved photographing them next to adorable vintage bicycles!
Hotel du Village
We took portraits throughout the amazing grounds of Hotel du Village, a New Hope, PA wedding venue (and former schoolhouse!) with a quaint, old world feel. What a cool space for a local destination wedding! It has two newly restored event spaces plus luxury guest rooms to stay on site. We absolutely loved the wood accents and romantic glowing lights of this Hotel du Village wedding. It was large enough to cost a huge wedding but certainly did not sacrifice that intimate feel we love. If you prefer an outdoor ceremony, the historic garden with fire pits and patios is stunning, especially with river views nearby.
No First Look
Worth mentioning is the fact that the bride and groom decided not to do a first look. We believe that choosing to do a first look is extremely personal and we never push our couples either way. Kaitlyn and Dale always imagined the first time they saw each other would be at the altar (His reaction was worth it for sure!). We knew it would be a challenge as the sun was setting only 15 minutes after their ceremony was scheduled to end. The amazing Hotel Du Village staff ensured the ceremony started on time, and we ended up with 15 minutes of amazing light to capture their wedding portraits.
Special Memories
Other highlights of this memorable wedding include a bridesmaid serenade during toasts that had the couple cracking up. We also took super fun champagne spray photos at the end of the night. In conclusion, this was certainly one for the books! Congrats, Kaitlyn + Dale 🙂
