Fisherman’s Cove in Manasquan is hands down one of our favorite New Jersey beaches for an engagement photo shoot for so many reasons.
First, it’s full of tall grasses and elements besides sand. We love the beach so much, but let’s face it, just sand can get pretty boring pretty fast.
Here in NJ, the ideal time to shoot with the water in the background is sunset. We like our sessions to be a little longer get-to-know-you sessions, so it’s nice to have things to shoot while waiting for that ideal light.
In addition to the tall grass, we love the nature paths at Fisherman’s Cove. The paths offer shade, greenery, and a nice runway to walk—three of our favorite elements for an engagement shoot.
One of our favorite things is that the Inlet beach is a hop, skip, and jump away, so it’s easy to head to the actual beach for sunset, too.
Overall, we love the variety this location offers and highly suggest this for a New Jersey beach engagement session.

There are few things more romantic than a tented summer wedding on the water. Sophie and Eric celebrated their wedding in the heart of Philadelphia at Water Works by Cescaphe. Their wedding was filled with thoughtful details that captured both their love and personality.

I recently had the pleasure of photographing Jillian and Ryan’s wedding at Mallard Island Yacht Club. From the moment I met them, I knew they were a perfect fit for Off BEET. They have such a chill vibe and effortlessly cool personalities. I was already obsessed with their engagement photos, and their wedding photos turned out just as amazing.
