Summertime Rhode Island Wedding at Mount Hope Farm
Here at Off Beet, we love any excuse to head out of state for a destination Rhode Island Wedding – especially if it’s for one of our own! Kyle is one of our trusted videographers, so we were ecstatic when him and Kim chose us for their wedding day. We also love shooting in Newport, in fact, we’ve shot there three times! But, this was our first time at Mount Hope Farm. Needless to say, we were more than excited for this one.
Kim was the happiest bride, with laughter all the way though. Even when they had to run through the rain and huddle under an umbrella to get to their ceremony, these two were all smiles. A Rhode Island Wedding in the summertime can be all sunshine, but sometimes you get a shower or two! We’re just glad Kyle + Kim were such good sports about the weather! Even their dog Bones made an appearance and he was definitely happy, too.
Shared Traditions
We love the fusion of two people combining their traditions! Kyle is not Jewish, but embraced Kim’s traditions for their Rhode Island Wedding. He clearly LOVED getting lifted in the chair on the dance floor – check out his face! He even tried to test his balance and stand up on the chair. Kyle has no fear, we loved that him and his groomsmen transported themselves around on skateboards all day. We had the most fun celebrating with Kim + Kyle in Newport!
