Shadowbrook Winter Wedding :: Caroline + Greg
Caroline + Greg were married just before Christmas and it was the most tasteful and elegant affair you can imagine. Not only are Mr. + Mrs. Smith the most perfect looking couple, they have fun and playful personalities to match. Photographing them was such a dream we almost forgot it was cold outside ! This Shadowbrook winter wedding was perfection.
A “Theme-less” Shadowbrook Winter Wedding
This amazing winter wedding in Shrewsbury, NJ boasted a color scheme of gold, champagne and white! When we asked Caroline about her vision, she said it would be classic but festive. We love that! But she was adamant about having a “theme-less” wedding.
Caroline had her bridesmaids pick out their own dresses, her only specifications were “any designer and style in a shade of gold or champagne” Having only four bridesmaids, she wanted them all to stand out and look different – just four gorgeous girls in pretty, gold dresses!
A Winter wedding and her love of metallics meant for gold accents that would be a pretty color for the start of the Christmas season. The Shadowbrook decorates to perfection during that time of year and is what sold them on the venue. Everywhere you looked there were white poinsettias and trees with twinkling lights, overall just gorgeous and tasteful. Everything there was gold and white and served as her inspiration. Her decisions on florals revolved around this: she didn’t want to take away from the ornate ballroom and the decor of the venue, so she wanted all white florals with greenery and candles.
Caroline was such a stunning, classic bride!
