Eco-Friendly Bronx Zoo Wedding with an Environmental Mission Statement
Alice and Jonathan weren’t just thinking of themselves when they chose to have a Bronx Zoo Wedding in the summer. With an environmental mission statement in mind, these environmentalists had a cause they wanted to advocate for. These two spend their spare time outdoors making places cleaner than when they found it. It was really important for this couple to have a no-waste wedding with plenty of plant-based food options. Additionally, they wanted to educate their guests about keystone and endangered species, and just enjoy being around some great animals while they celebrated their wedding with a cause! As animal lovers, they have nicknamed each other bunny and otter. We were so glad to be a part of their adventure!
We were all smiles when their friends came down the aisle in animal costumes!
The dress attire (or costume) theme was flora & fauna – but please no leathers, feathers or animal skins! Faux animal costumes only!
These beautiful peace lily centerpieces were re-purposed from the aisle at the ceremony.
Alice and Jonathan were so thoughtful with their details, even down to the endangered species, fair trade chocolate bar’s they gave as favors
