A Perfect Summer Wedding at the Ryland Inn
It was a perfect Summer wedding at the Ryland Inn and we could not have been more thrilled to be spending the day with Jackie and Andrew.
Getting Ready
Bridal prep started on site at The Ryland Inn in one of their beautiful cottages. The girls cottage has an amazing bathtub and I thought it would be fun to grab a playful photo of all the girls in the tub with their matching monogrammed pj sets. Without hesitation, they jumped right in and we had some fun with it. Meanwhile, John was capturing the groomsmen over at The grooms cottage.
First look
Jackie and Andrew opted for a first look and we decided to do it in the front driveway. Andrew’s face was priceless when he saw Jackie for the first time. We love doing photos in the driveway with the Coach house in the background! Once we captured some portraits of the bride and groom together, we had the wedding party join and Jackie did a first look with her dad. We had loved Andrew’s megawatt smile when he saw her, but dad’s tears really tugged at our heartstrings.
The Details
The bridesmaids wore dusty blue dresses by Hayley Paige that were the perfect fit for a Summer Ryland inn wedding. Each and every detail was perfectly curated and not surprisingly coordinated and executed by Twisted Willow Flowers. It was elegant, classic, with a few fun details sprinkled in. We especially loved the acrylic signage and the garden themed floral arrangements on the sweetheart table. The color scheme was soft blue, gold, white, and soft pink/peach.
The Ceremony
Jackie walked down the aisle with her father looking absolutely stunning in her Sottero and Midgley gown. The ceremony was sweet and we always love the beautiful backdrop of the Ryland Inn ballroom in the back. Post ceremony Jackie and Andrew joined us for a few quick magic hour photos in the beautiful summer light!
The Reception
It was a super fun dancing crowd and at one point I looked to my assistant and exclaimed that I wanted to party with them. Most memorable was Andrew’s entrance into the ballroom. As he and Jackie approached the dance floor, he did one heck of a backflip. The crowd went wild and we were impressed! Throughout the evening, he did it again and again and we learned backflips are kinda his thing. It was then that John and I decided to take them outside to grab a fun photo of this. John captured Andrew at the perfect time while Jackie popped champagne. It was a great end to a perfect day.
