Justyna + Peter squeezed me into their suitcase and brought me along to photograph their intimate Aruba destination wedding. It was an honor to be a part of this wonderful occasion. We started the day with preparations at the Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino where we did their first look on a bridge over the clear blue water. Next, we headed into downtown Aruba to capture images with the historic and colorful backgrounds.
Once our photography session was finished, we were off to the church. Justyna and her dad had me ride to the church with them in a classic car. On our way, the car broke down. I was internally panicking that we would be late (and then miss the sunset). However, the driver was magical and he fixed the car in record time. We actually got to the church with time to spare, and I snapped some pretty funny pictures on the side of the road as well!
They has a very intimate ceremony and then we headed to their reception. Dinner was held at La Trattoria El Faro Blanco. It had a beautiful view of Aruba and the historic lighthouse. It was a wonderful evening in great company. We are so happy to share this one with you and cannot wait to photograph another Aruba destination wedding!

After the first look ,we headed to the downtown area of Aruba. Because of the vibrant colored walls and the cool textures, we were able to capture some really fun images!
It was impressive to see how fast the driver fixed the car that broke down. It was my first time being stuck on the side of a road with my bride. Needless to say, it makes for a great story!
My favorite part about photographing an Aruba destination wedding was the trees. Because they were so unique, we had to stop and take a few photos with one!
