Katie and Gerard had the most fun at their Jamaican Destination Wedding. They had sunshine, palm trees and tropical weather. Destination weddings are the best opportunity to escape reality and have a huge vacation-party with your family and friends! And we love the excuse to photograph on a tropical island.
I loved Katie’s sparkly details and coral bridesmaid’s dresses. The guys had a blast on the beach and there some hilarious candids of them on the beach (and there might be a blow up rainbow unicorn tube involved). We would definitely say they were the chillest couple, so having a Jamaican Destination Wedding made total sense. The complimenting coral, tropical colored bouquet and palm leaf table settings were just right. Suffice it to say that this couple hit the Caribbean vibe nail on the head.
The photos speak for themselves. It was so hot in Jamaica, by the end of a night of dancing, this couple and their party just had to jump in the pool. Not to mention it was way too hot to even think about changing out of the dress. They just jumped right in! We loved it, it was the perfect way to end the night.
There should be a blow up unicorn tube at every wedding!
What a view to get hitched in front of!
When it’s so hot, you just have to jump in the pool – dress and all!

I was excited to shoot a wedding at Cedar Lakes Estate in Port Jervis, NY for obvious reasons; it’s my favorite place in the world, and also where I got married! I am in love with natural settings, and Cedar Lakes offers so many amazing locations for wedding photos.
